Koča / Cottage Fikfak

The cabin is located on plateau Jelovica, on the hill called Talež. Location is perfect because of many starting points for hikers. The cottage is situated in the clearing in the middle of the woods. It offers peace, quietness, beauty and comfort.

On the ground floor there is one common space with kitchen, eating corner and living room. Kitchen offers all kitchen tools that you need for cooking, eating and drinking. We provide the heating with the fireplace and the firewood. We also offer bathroom with the toilet, shower and washbasin. The cottage is provided with the water and electricity, but in limited extend. There are times, especially in the winter, that the supply of the water and electricity is low. For that reason we offer candles and fireplace, so that you are able to see and be worm. After all, the point of takin vocations in mountain cabin is returning to the nature. Outside the cabin there are also many tables and benches, where you can take a seat and just rest and enjoy the nature.

Interaction with Guests

We also offer you a children’s playground, bowling alley and a grill, if you are a fond of picnic parties. Our cabin serves you total privacy and many possibilities for all kinds of adventures. You will be able to access the cabin on foot, by car or by bicycle, which means that it is perfect for all sports enthusiasts or for the people who need a break from everyday life, which is full of stress, worries and other every day obligations. 10 minutes walk away there is also hut named Koča na Taležu, where they will serve you the local, homemade food and drinks. The restaurant also offers one of the best views on the lake Bled.
Nearest places you may rich form our cabin are called Radovljica, Bled and Ribno. If you will rent a car, then you may also visit Bohinj, Kranjska Gora, Vintgar and many other beautiful places that the nature offers.
