Arena Zagreb zauzima površinu od 29.540 m2, s ukupno 90.340 m2 bruto površine na šest etaža. Dvorana ima 15 tisuća sjedećih mjesta, a za koncertne kapacitete je povećan na 18.600 sjedećih i stojećih mjesta.
Prostorni kapacitet za 18.600 posjetitelja Arenu Zagreb svrstava u idealne prostore za održavanje sportskih događaja, koncerata i ostalih kulturnih spektakla koji uvelike pridonose novoj društvenoj i kulturnoj dimenziji Grada, kao i cijele Hrvatske.
U sklopu Arene Zagreb postoje velika i mala dvorana za organizaciju raznovrsnih sportskih događaja: rukomet, košarka, odbojka, mali nogomet, gimnastika, tenis, stolni tenis, boks, hrvanje, karate, taekwondo, judo, dizanje utega, dvoranska atletika, aktivnosti na ledu te ostali dvoranski sportovi.

Osim toga, prostor Arene Zagreb pogodan je za organizaciju sajmova, kongresa ili izložbi.

Od ukupnog broja sjedećih mjesta, njih 150 predviđeno je za osobe s posebnim potrebama. U sklopu dvorane osigurano je oko 800 parkirališnih mjesta, uglavnom u podzemnoj garaži, dok je za masovnije posjete dvorani predviđeno 38 parkirališnih mjesta za autobuse te kamione s opremom izvođača.

Arena Zagreb smještena je u jugozapadnom dijelu grada Zagreba, na glavnom ulazu u grad.

Izgradnja Arene započela je 21. srpnja 2007. godine, a trajala je ukupno 503 dana.

Zagreb Arena, the largest sports hall in Croatia, was built in 2008 for the 21st World Handball Championships. With a capacity of 18.600 spectators, Zagreb Arena is an ideal location for holding sports events, concerts, theatre productions and other major cultural events, which make an important contribution to the new social and cultural dimension of the City, and Croatia as a whole.

Zagreb Arena captures 29,540 square meters of ground plan, with a gross surface of 90,500 square meters located on six floors. The hall provides 15 thousands seats, and for concerts this capacity can be increased to 18.600 spectators.
Within Zagreb Arena there is a large and a small hall for organizing a variety of sporting events: handball, basketball, volleyball, indoor football, gymnastics, tennis, table tennis, boxing, wrestling, karate, taekwondo, judo, weightlifting, indoor athletics, ice shows and other indoor sports.

Zagreb Arena also provides the opportunity to organize various forms of fairs, congresses and exhibitions.

Of the total of seats available, 150 are provided for people with special needs. There are about 800 parking places within the Arena complex, mainly in an underground car park, whilst for larger crowds there are 38 parking places for buses and production trucks.
Zagreb Arena is located at the main entrance of south-western part of the City.
Work on the arena began on 21st July 2007 and took a total of 503 days.
