Römerstadt Carnuntum

Carnuntum, die Stadt der Kaiser, ist wiedergeboren. Weltweit einmalig wurden in Carnuntum die wesentlichen Architekturtypen eines römischen Stadtviertels im historischen Kontext rekonstruiert. Ganz so, als wäre die Zeit vor 1700 Jahren stehengeblieben.

Zur Römerstadt Carnuntum gehören das rekonstruierte Römische Stadtviertel, das Amphitheater der Militärstadt und das Museum Carnuntinum in Bad Deutsch-Altenburg.

Carnuntum, city of emperors, has been reborn. Uniquely throughout the world, the most relevant types of architecture in a Roman city quarter have been reconstructed in Carnuntum in their historical context. Just as if time had come to a halt 1700 years ago.

The main locations of the Roman City Carnuntum are the Roman City Quarter in Petronell-Carnuntum, the Military City's Amphitheatre and the Museum Carnuntinum.
